Two piezos will be attached to opposite ends of the string(s). One transmitting sounds/vibrations from a sound composition which is composed of sounds from the video layered with recording sound/speech from brussels. This will set in vibration the string and will be amplified from the second piezo into the room. The string will sound overtones depending on the pitch and timbre of the audio recording. The sound in the room will be a mix of these two sources (string and audio recording). The strings will be installed in the space using the wall and floor in keeping with the space. [michael delia]
